Welcome to Demon School Iruma Kun Season 3 Reveals Premiere Month

It has been revealed by NHK that the third season of the television anime of Osamu Nishi‘s Welcome to Demon School Iruma Kun (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) manga will premiere in October on NHK Educational.

A new teaser visual (below) has been unveiled for the upcoming third season. The new visual features Iruma and Barbatos Bachiko. According to the announcement, Barbatos Bachiko holds “the key to Iruma’s growth”.

About Season 3

The third season will center on Iruma competing with classmates to gather ingredients in a demonic jungle, all to prepare for an upcoming harvest festival.

This third season was announced with the finale of season 2 which aired in September 2021. BN Pictures is animating the anime adaptation of Osamu Nishi’s manga. There is still no information about season 3 staff, but the cast is expected to reprise their roles.

Previous Seasons & Storyline

The first anime premiered in October 2019 on NHK Educational, and had 23 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan under the title Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun, and also streamed an English dub. The second season premiered in April 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, and debuted an English dub in June 2021.

The story of Mairimashita! Iruma-kun follows Iruma, a kind-hearted 14-year-old boy whose parents sell him to demons for their own selfish interests. However, the demon he is sold to has no grandson of his own, so he dotes on Iruma and sends him to demon school. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it describes it as such:
