“Seven Deadly Sins” Final Anime Film Releases Teaser

The upcoming original anime film for the Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) franchise has begun streaming a teaser video on the movie’s official website.

The teaser video reveals the film’s July 2 opening date. The site also unveiled a new visual that reads, “Farewell, Seven Deadly Sins.

THE FINAL FILM

The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light (Nanatsu no Taizai: Hikari ni Norowareshi Mono-tachi) will be a brand-new film set after the events of Dragon’s Judgment and written by the original series creator, Nakaba Suzuki.

The fourth and final season of the anime series, The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgment, is currently airing new episodes.

The original movie, premiering in July, will be set after The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement anime.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement (Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan), the franchise’s fourth television anime series, premiered on TV Tokyo in Japan on January 6.

For now, details on the plot of The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light (Nanatsu no Taizai: Hikari ni Norowareshi Mono-tachi) are not available. It is the final adventure for Meliodas and his band of sins but that could very well change, as is the case in a lot of anime franchises.

Probably, when the anime’s fourth season, “Dragon’s Judgement”, comes to an end, we can begin to see how that will shape the movie’s story and if some elements will be taken from the manga to add depth to the anime film.
