WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT RADIATION HOUSE?
Radiation House does well in highlighting the contributions of radiologists who often go unrecognized because they do not work directly with patients. The story focuses on medical professionals in the radiology department of a hospital. Medical radiographers use radiographs and CT scans to probe the causes of diseases and uncover pathological changes, while radiologists read the results and offer diagnoses.

Yokomaku and Mori launched the manga in Grand Jump in October 2015. Shueisha published the manga’s 11th compiled book volume on September 17, and it will publish the 12th volume on December 17.
The manga highlights the relationship between Iori and his childhood friend, An Amakasu, in great detail. While Iori is fixated on his work as a radiology technician, he realizes that An looks down on those who don’t have a doctor’s license. She is, at first, portrayed as someone who only wants to run the hospital smoothly and easily looks down on others. However, we slowly realize that she actually lacks self-confidence. Iori will gradually help her with her issues.
