PAX EAST 2021 Moves Online

The organizers of the PAX East event have announced that the “in person” event originally scheduled to hold in Boston from June 3-June 6 has been canceled.
Kyle Marsden-Kish, PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) event director at ReedPop, confirmed in a statement that ReedPop and Penny Arcade are canceling the PAX East event this year due to ongoing public health concerns with the novel coronavirus.
ANNOUNCEMENT
There has also been confirmation from both organizers that PAX Online will once again take place this year but this time from July 15 through July 18. The staff of PAX East anticipated the cancellation and did not sell tickets for the “in-person” event.

ReedPop and Penny Arcade have stated that they will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation. The PAX Event staff expect to have an in-person event in Boston in 2022.
ADDITIONAL EVENTS
Marsden-Kish added that given the progress the United States has made so far towards mitigating the effects of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), he expects that the PAX West and PAX Unplugged events will still take place as in-person events on September 3-6 and December 10-12, respectively.
