Brief Trailer

The 30-second teaser trailer introduces its two main cast members – Meru Nukumi and Hikaru Iwamoto, a member of Johnny & Associates’ boy idol group, Snow Man.

About the Movie

The story centers on Moe Sasaki (Nukumi), a high school girl who moves in with her family after the death of her father. Unable to get along with her classmates, Moe was a “loner” until she was rescued by Kyosuke Ebihara (Iwamoto), a firefighter, at her high school’s fire drill. Although he is blunt, Kyosuke is kind and mature, and he gradually gives her courage, and she becomes more and more attracted to him as she tries to break free from being a loner.

The associated manga launched in Kodansha‘s Dessert magazine in May 2016. Kodansha Comics describes it as such:

Hot firemen, now in the world of shojo manga! High school student Moe has moved to a new town after the death of her father. Moe‘s already having enough trouble fitting into her new class as it is, so she’s totally mortified when she ends up being “rescued” by local firefighter Kyōsuke during a fire drill … in front of all the kids at school. But the embarrassing incident might be a blessing in disguise, because gruff-but-kind Kyōsuke gives Moe the courage she needs to leap out of her comfort zone as she aims to leave her loner days behind. Not to mention she’s soon falling head over heels for him … !
