After a highly successful first season in 2017, the popular anime and manga franchise, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, will finally be making its highly anticipated return for the second season.
The second season has already been announced and the promo video to go with it was released last month.
A NEW SEASON
It is now officially confirmed that the second season is coming to Crunchyroll.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will debut this July and will be available for Crunchyroll members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
Crunchyroll has begun streaming an English-subtitled version of the first promotional video which debuted in February. The upcoming season comes with an emotional aura as the team behind the series is honoring the staff tragically lost in the fire (arson attack on Kyoto Animation’s 1st Studio building back in 2019).
Kyoto Animation is returning to produce the anime. The “S” in the show’s second season title stands for “Super Supreme Second Life Starts”.
The second season of the television anime of Coolkyoushinja‘s Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid manga will premiere in Japan in July.

This second season will feature a returning cast from the first season and one additional cast member, Tomomi Mineuchi, as Ilulu.
Crunchyroll describes the anime:
The wacky Dragon Maid is back again! A strange turn of events leads the Dragon, Tohru, to work as Miss Kobayashi’s maid. She occasionally (that’s a lie, she often) causes trouble for her beloved Miss Kobayashi while blending into human society and splendidly (that’s a lie, only mediocrely) carrying out her maid duties.
Her fellow dragons, Kanna, Lucoa, Fafnir, and Elma all find their own places to fit in as well and enjoy interspecies interactions with the humans. Yet while they’re all enjoying that laid-back and occasionally turbulent [life], the threat of a new Dragon swoops down upon Miss Kobayashi.
Coolkyoushinja began the ongoing Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid manga in the inaugural issue of Monthly Action magazine in May 2013. The manga has also inspired several spin-off series.
Madly in love with anime and football...... it's disturbing.
