The official website for the Fruits Basket TV anime started streaming the promotional video for the third and final season of the series.

Following the second season which concluded last fall, Fruits Basket will be returning for a third and final season next month as part of the jam-packed spring 2021 season of anime releases.

Fruits Basket television anime series is an adaptation of Natsuki Takaya‘s Fruits Basket manga. The original Fruits Basket manga ran for 23 volumes from 1998 to 2006.

This anime adaptation has set out to be a much more faithful anime to the complete series rather than the first one that had its own original ending 20 years ago.

The upcoming third and final season of the series is titled Fruits Basket the Final. The promotional video can also be found on Funimation with English subtitles.

The third season has yet to confirm how many episodes it will be sticking around for with this final run but fans will finally get to see the anime play out like Takaya’s original series. It will be making its debut on April 5 in Japan.

The Japanese-Chinese boyband, WARPs UP, will perform the opening theme song, “Pleasure”, and the seven-member dance vocal group, GENIC, will perform the ending theme song, “Haru Urarara” (Beautiful Spring).
